Pancakes

Mix the flour, egg, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk and butter in a bowl. Whisk gently until thoroughly blended.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and use a paper towel to slightly grease its bottom with oil.

Pour 2 to 3 spoonfuls from the mixture to make a pancake and use the back of the spoon to spread it over the bottom of the pan.

Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until bubbles begin to form on the pancake.

Carefully flip the pancake with a thin spatula and cook 1 to 2 minutes until the underside is brown.

Serve pancakes on a plate with chocolate syrup.
