The dairy industry OLYMPUS was set up in 1965 and now holds a leading position in the field of production of dairy and cheese products. It is the most important exporter of Greek cheese products in 25 countries and 5 continents.
The company goods are made in the Prefecture of Larissa, near Mount Olympus. It is located in the heart of a wider area, in Thessaly, which has been for a long time the main cheese producing area in Greece. Meanwhile, the company has an active production in markets abroad with plants both in Romania and Bulgaria.
The company OLYMPUS applies a complete management system of its raw material, milk. The personnel of the cooperating animal breeding units is trained within the company and subjected to inspection so that their flock will be fed on pure, natural feed of the area while observing the strictest hygiene rules.
This is also proved by the fact that OLYMPUS possesses all the Quality System Certificates ELOT EN ISO 14001:1996, ELOT EN ISO 9001:2000, HACCP, BRC, IFS.
The aim of OLYMPUS is and will be the constant development, the quest for perfection in terms of safety as well as the production of a wide range of milk and dairy products of excellent quality and taste, so that more and more people in even more countries will get to know the tradition of our land.
